Happy Tuesday!

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend - and a wonderful start to your week.  Spring is finally here - at least it appears to be!

I have been working on party favors with a little friend who will soon be turning seven!  She wanted something "girly", so this is what we came up with.  We created the purse using Amelie's Accessories SVG Kit - the pinafore dress invitation was created using "Shape Cards" from  My Scrap Chick.

We raided my "stash" and found some really cute paper that I had completely forgotten about!  We created the adorable flower by using coordinating papers, and attached it to the purse with a matching brad.   We secured the handles with an eyelet using my Crop-A-Dile, and stamped the inside of the card with an "invitation stamp" (which, of course, I found in my "collection"!).

Ynessa can't wait to  fill in the blanks!!

I am as excited as Ynessa is for her birthday party!
Her mama plans to fill the purses with nail polish, lipsticks & other sparkly, frilly girly stuff!!
We never get too old for all that "girly stuff" - do we??

A Girl Needs Her Shoes!

A friend of mine recently asked me to make fifty "shoe" cards in various colors.  I created the cards using Amelia's Accessories SVG Kit, and used contrasting embellishments to make each card unique.

I tried to get a photo of all fifty "shoes", but there were just too many to fit into one frame!  I picked out a few of the sets to share!

Thank you for stopping by!

Chicks Are Hatching!!

I have had so much fun creating these little Hatching Chicks Easter Baskets!  The svg is from Pepitos Room.  The chick is filled with crinkled colored paper, along with a few sweet treats!  Easter themed ribbon holds the "cracked" shell in place.  Attached are some Easter/Spring themed embellishments that I found in my stash!  The charm was made using Shrinky Dinks - then attached with a color coordinated brad.

Just a few more Chicks!

 Thank you for stopping by!

Easter "Buckets"!

With EASTER just a few days away, my cricut has been working overtime!
A good friend asked if I could make Easter Baskets for her two little girls.  Here is what I put together!

I purchased Easter themed buckets from Target and filled them with shredded colored paper, then added "some sweet stuff"!  Both bunnies were created using svg files from the Easter Collection from Treasure Box Designs.  Pop-dots were used to attach the bunnies to the buckets.
Simple gifts that I hope will bring big smiles!

Winner!!

There will be many other prizes along the way, and you will certainly be inspired!

Ready to HOP!?!

My first project is an easel card.  The digi was dropped into PSP - splashed with color - then printed on cardstock.  The rose was created using the Penny Duncan's svg & tutorial.  Pop-dots were used to attach the bunny & rose to the card.  "Celebrate With Flourish" was used to create the Hoppy Easter sentiment.

My second project is a charm.  The digi was dropped into PSP - splashed with color - then printed on Shrinky Dink Plastic.  Once cut out, the digi was baked and shrunk, then attached to the basket using a charm clip.

My third project was created using Make-the-Cut.  Once the digi was split, each piece was cut - then pieced together.  The completed piece was attached to the "basket" with pop-dots.  The basket was created using an 8 x 8 sheet of paper.   The process was a bit time consuming, but worth it in the end.

No blog hop would be complete without blog candy!

The Queen's Royal Birthday Ball - Blog Hop!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to "Her Majesty" - The Queen's (The Scrapbook Queen) Royal Birthday Ball - Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Rosy's blog, you are on the right track - if you would like to start from the beginning click here.

It's time to get this PARTY started!

After wondering aimlessly through "Her Majesty's" Kingdom looking for the perfect gift - and after searching hither and yon - I realized that no ball gown is complete without a wonderful pair of slippers!

I created this slipper card, using Amelie's Accessories SVG Kit.  All of the files you need to cut the card and flower are included in the kit.  I used pop dots on the upper portion and on the toe strap of the slipper to give it that 3D effect.  The sentiment on the inside of the card reads:

...she didn't ask to be Queen,
but the slipper was a perfect fit...

Happy Birthday Theresa!
Many Wonderful Blessings!

This is my first blog hop, so I was very humbled when "Her Majesty" asked me to be part of this special birthday celebration - not only is her talent amazing - she has brought together an impressively talented group of women!
